(Download the Application Form)

IEEE BlackSeaCom 2014 will feature a special demonstration session showcasing the latest technological advances in all areas of communications and networking technologies. The goal of the IEEE BlackSeaCom is to bring together visionaries in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to the shores of the Black Sea. The demonstration session will provide an exciting forum for researchers, developers, and entrepreneurs to present and discuss new applications, techniques and prototypes.

Demonstrations showcasing working systems, research results/challenges, commercial developments, novel applications, ground-breaking ideas or future directions in communications and networking are welcome. Nascent and incubating companies wishing to demonstrate emerging and innovative technologies that have potential commercial application are particularly encouraged to participate.

In particular, we are seeking the following types of contributions:

  • Demos from student authors about the concepts presented in their paper(s)
  • Demos from all other authors of accepted contributions in the main conference and workshops
  • Demos from faculty and academic research groups related to IEEE BlackSeaCom 2014 key topics
  • Demos from industrial researchers

Submission Guidelines

Prospective demo participants should fill out and submit the application form describing the demonstration, and listing requirements (e.g. space, power, instruments, networking, etc.). All submitted applications will be reviewed and decisions will be based on the degree of appropriateness and quality for IEEE BlackSeaCom 2014. All presenters for each selected demo must register for the conference.

The applications should be submitted via email to the Demos Co-chairs, Marc Waldman and Oleksandr Mazurenko by January 31, 2014.
